FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: subcalibre bullet is arranged as composite from the following components prefabricated and fixed undetachably on a hard-alloy central rod of the bullet head part, comprising a body of the bullet head part, having a hemispherical fairing, and a skirt of the bullet head part, and a tail part of the bullet, comprising a tail stabiliser, to form a single streamlined aerodynamic body in the form of a finned spindle with bullet extension of around 6.0. The central rod is arranged in the form of an axisymmetric solid of revolution of a stepped-cylinder shape to install structural elements of the bullet on it with the help of press fit, having the specified ratio of dimensions. A cartridge comprises a case, an igniting facility, a powder charge, a bullet specified above and a pulling tray comprising sector half-trays. When charging the cartridge, the bullet is installed in the case with submersion of the tail part stabiliser directly into the powder charge with proper pressing of powder by the pulling tray.
