The method for feeding egg-laying birds envisages usage of a feedstuff as the basic feeding ration, the feedstuff consisting of feed wheat in an amount of 54.0; unsecured barley in an amount of 14.20; sunflower cake (Sp 34%, SKl 17%) in an amount of 7.0; soya bean cake (SP 42%, ur 0.15%) in an amount of 5.23; meat-and-bone meal (SP 36%) in an amount of 2.0; fish meal - (SP 62%) - 4.46, sunflower oil in an amount of 2.5; lysin (monochlorhydrate) in an amount of 0.01; methionine in an amount of 0.13; culinary salt in an amount of 0.13; defluorinated phosphate (Ca 30%, P 18%) in an amount of 0.90; limestone in an amount of 8.44, a premix in an amount of 1.0; the basic feedstuff feeding ration is supplemented with a vegetal origin additive represented by ground grains of deep-coloured barley at the following components ratio, wt %: 15% of ground grains of deep-coloured barley, basic feeding ration feedstuff - balance; egg-laying birds are fed 3 times a day with a 5-6 hours interval.
