FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to syringe devices, in particular, to syringes with possibility of preventing reuse and methods of their use. Medical device contains cylinder and elongated piston rod. Cylinder includes cylindrical side wall with internal surface, forming chamber for holding flowing medium, open proximal end and distal end, which includes distal wall with hole, through which connection with said chamber is realised. Elongated piston rod has proximal end, distal end with butt end wall and sleeve, interacting with internal surface of cylinder with formation of impermeable sealing, and main part, located between proximal and distal ends. Piston rod can travel in distal and proximal directions inside said chamber, and its proximal end includes pressure part. At least, a section of butt end wall is provided with sealing element. Sleeve includes outer edge on butt end wall, which creates impermeable sealing with internal surface of cylinder. Sealing element is detachably linked with distal end of piston rod in such a way that when said, at least, section of butt end wall is detached from distal end of piston rod, formation of vacuum between sleeve and cylinder is prevented, and thus, reuse of device is prevented, and butt end wall includes receiving part and passage, which provides connection between said receiving part and said chamber. Receiving part has, at least, one hole, providing connection between receiving part and external side of device. Said, at least, one hole is located in peripheral area of receiving part.
EFFECT: invention is simple in manufacturing and application, like a standard syringe for subcutaneous injections.
