SUBSTANCE: in the device for weft insertion on loom for braidings the shuttles are made with double-sided projections and are placed in a gap between two toothed belts. The toothed belts perform synchronous movement from the drive slider. When movement the toothed belts interact with the projections of shuttles and move them from one extreme position to the other. In the area of the throat the toothed belts divergent, rounding the throat on the top and the bottom, ensuring the passage of the upper and lower warp threads.

EFFECT: reduced operating noise when operating the machine, and increased its reliability.
