SUBSTANCE: washing machine comprises a housing, a tank mounted in the housing, an elastic element and a damping element for flexible maintenance of the tank in the housing and the device for determining the amount of laundry placed in the tank. The device for determining the amount of laundry comprises a unit for measurement the amount of deformation of the elastic element and a control unit for receiving the amount measured by the unit for measuring the amount of deformation. The unit for measuring the amount of deformation comprises a sensor of loading having an elastically deformable housing and a sensor of deformation. Additionally there is an element for fixation the position, made with the ability to attach the sensor of loading to the two ends of the elastic element.
EFFECT: accurately measuring of the amount of laundry in the drum is provided for efficient use of electricity.
