FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: system for lifting the boundary layer using plasma includes blade of gas-turbine engine with airfoil profile passing throughout the length of that blade, and plasma generators. Airfoil profile has external surface passing along the chord between front and rear edges located opposite each other. Plasma generators are located along the chord at some distance from each other; plasma is spread on external surface of airfoil profile along the chord. In the other version, the boundary layer lifting system includes blade ring containing a row of gas-turbine engine blades located opposite each other in circumferential direction; each blade includes plasma generators. The other invention of the group relates to the application method of gas-turbine engine with the above boundary layer lifting system, in compliance with which plasma is generated and spread along the chord on the external surface of airfoil profile of gas-turbine engine blade.

EFFECT: inventions allow increasing the efficiency of gas-turbine engine.
