FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: navigation device comprises the following components: a unit of measurements designed to measure current location; a geomagnetic sensor installed on a previously specified main unit and designed for determination of geomagnetism; a unit for calculation of direction designed to calculate direction of the main unit after setting correcting values, providing for correction of geomagnetism values; a unit of indication designed to show measurement results and location calculation results to a user; a unit to set a working condition designed to switch between ordinary working condition, in which a process of demonstration is performed, and a waiting condition, in which a part of processes condition is saved, and the direction calculation process is fixed; a unit of initialisation process designed to initialise correcting values in case of transition from the waiting condition into the ordinary working condition, the specified transition is carried out with the unit of setting/switching of the working condition.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities.
