FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: cartographic image is placed on a flat workpiece which is a single layer of polymer material. Before assembling the three-dimensional model or installing the single part of the surface of the three-dimensional model, characterised by dimensions smaller than one metre and selected from a list comprising: a three-dimensional model in form of a sphere, e.g., a celestial globe, a planetary globe; a three-dimensional model in form of a spherical segment; a three-dimensional model in form of a spherical sector, formation operations are carried out to obtain at least one non-deformable part of the relief and/or non-relief surface of the three-dimensional model. Formation operations are carried out on a solid base using heating operations.
EFFECT: high quality of the cartographic product by preventing formation of cavities filled with air.
