FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: antenna has a coil wound on a ferrite rod core and placed in an electric shield with a longitudinal slit. The electric shield is in form of two electroconductive shells coaxially inserted one into the other and separated by a dielectric layer, said shells having identical helical slits. Each of the slits makes one turn about the longitudinal axis of the shells on the length of the corresponding shell, wherein the beginning of the helical slits is shifted from each other by 180°. The shells are electrically connected to each other by a helical line equidistant from the lines of the helical slits of each shell. The antenna coil is in form of two equal parts wound one on top of the other oppositely. The ends of these parts are electrically connected to each other on one side and form the differential output of the antenna on the other side.
EFFECT: reduced susceptibility of the antenna to the electrical component of the electromagnetic field.
