FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: there are offered: use of a combination containing gamma-linolenic acid and at least one green tea polyphenol wherein the ratio of gamma-linolenic acid and green tea polyphenol varies within the range of approximately 1 to approximately 10, for intensifying keratinocyte differentiation in vitro and ex vivo; said combination for skin improvement by an effect on the barrier skin function, a composition and an oral composition for the same application (versions), use of said combination for preparing a drug applicable for improving skin by the effect on the barrier skin function and use of the combination for preparing a drug applicable for prevention and treating pathologies causing degeneration, particularly reduction of keratinocyte differentiation. What is shown is synergetic action of the combination in inducing keratinocyte differentiation (as shown by an transglutaminase K activation index therein) and in involucrin (structural corneal protein) expression.
EFFECT: clinical evidences are provided for improvement.
