FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions from green tea, stabilised by natural antioxidants, such as oligomer procyanidins (OPC) together with vitamin C or analogues of vitamin C. It is proposed to use a mixture of OPC and ascorbic acid for improved bioavailability of green tea catechines. The method includes a stage of using the composition containing a green tea catechine and a mixture of oligomer procyanidins (OPC) and ascorbic acid or analogues of the vitamin C.

EFFECT: increased bioavailability of catechines in food or cosmetic compositions.
