FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: ethanol and/or diethyl ether is passed through layer of preliminarily reduced catalyst, which represents zeolite of CVM type, containing 0.4-1 wt % Pd and 0.5-1 wt % Zn at temperature 350-400°C and volume rate of ethanol and/or diethyl ether supply 0.4-0.8 hour-1.
EFFECT: application of claimed method makes it possible to ensure high output and high purity of alkane-aromatic fraction with simplification of technology, reduction of methane-formation, support of optimal ratio of alkanes and aromatic compounds in obtained fraction.
