FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for fireproofing building structures, primarily metallic structures. The crude mixture contains binder and aggregate - vermiculite. The binder used is composite binder which contains 60-80% portland cement and 20-40% finely dispersed vermiculite cyclone dust, which is a foamed vermiculite production waste. The aggregate used is 0.63-2.5 fraction foamed vermiculite. The ratio of the composite binder to foamed vermiculite is 1:1.5-1:2.5 by volume.
EFFECT: higher fire-retardant efficiency of the disclosed compositions, wider range of domestic fire-retardant materials, reduced cost thereof and avoiding scarce materials, replacement thereof with production wastes, as well as improved environmental friendliness and technological simplicity.
