FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and serves to lock, seal and protect equipment in the well against high pressure. Proposed packer comprises expanding branch pipe lowered on string with lower contraction and upper circular expansion and seal arranged there between, on outer surface of said branch pipe. Mandrel with expanding cone, seat and valve is arranged in upper expansion and tightly pressed against expanding branch pipe. Said mandrel is made from easy-to-drill material and furnished with limiter arranged above seat and valve. Expandable branch pipe has lower annular expansion with bottom contraction below said seal made from easy-to-drill material and jointed with lower expansion to allow detachment in interaction with mandrel. Said seal is composed of annular glands regularly spaced apart. Said mandrel is provided with sealing glands above expanding cone. Diameter of said glands should be smaller than or equal that of branch pipe annular expansions. Faces of said glands may be provided with self-sealing flanges.
