FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: inventions refer to machine-building industry. Spring manufacturing method involves arrangement of one compressed elastomeric gasket with a central projection between a pair of metal plates with central hole and multiple teeth around its edge, as well as alignment of teeth with the corresponding central projection. Manufacturing method of spring assembly provides for manufacture of multiple-link pack of gaskets separated with plates, application of axial force to spring assembly, piercing of gaskets with teeth, penetration of teeth through the specified distance into the gasket and mechanical attachment of gasket to plates, and then, removal of axial load from spring assembly. In the method providing axial linearity during multiple cushioning of axial dynamic impact loads exceeding 7500 pounds per square inch there used are many compressed elastomeric gaskets from copolyester polymer, which have a slot against axial projection.

EFFECT: improvement of axial linearity and stability in lateral direction of multiple-link compressed spring assembly.
