FIELD: physics, computer engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to digital computer systems for processing input information on characteristics of weapons of different groups. Information on characteristics of all weapons of each group of the sides is switched, recorded in a first memory unit, forwarded to an arithmetic unit for determining superiority coefficients for each of their strategies, values of said coefficients are recorded in a second memory unit, transmitted to a comparator unit in which they are compared with a threshold value; if they are superior, side A wins, otherwise side A loses; superiority coefficient values higher than the threshold value are sent to a maximum determining unit for selecting the optimum strategy for side A; information on characteristics of weapons is sent a computing unit in which the remaining weapons of the sides after combat operations are determined and then sent to a third memory unit; using a unit for selecting results of combat operations through signals from the control unit, the second and third memory unit are actuated and information on the results is sent a display unit, from which reading and selection by the operator of the optimum strategy, prediction of the outcome of combat operations takes place.

EFFECT: wider range of means of increasing efficiency of combat operations by planning the method and creating devices for selecting the optimum strategy in combat operations of different groups.
