METHOD TO IMPREGNATE WINDINGS OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC H02K15/12

Abstract RU 2467452 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, a technology for impregnation of electric machine and electrical appliances windings insulation and may be used to manufacture stators of electric machines, transformers, throttles. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that an impregnated winding and an impregnated composition is heated to impregnation temperature, and one of front parts of the winding are submerged into an impregnation varnish. Prior to impregnation, a finely dispersed ferromagnetic filler is added into the impregnation varnish with volume resistance of at least 105 Ohm × m, for instance, a nickel-zinc ferrite of grade 600 NN. The filler is mixed with the impregnation varnish in the weight ratio (5 ÷ 10) % of ferromagnetic particles and (95 ÷ 90) % of the impregnation varnish. Afterwards the produced mix is thoroughly fixed and poured into a bath. Then, after heating of a winding and a produced mix to the impregnation temperature, and submersion of one front part of the winding into a heated impregnation mixture, a longitudinal magnetic field is developed above a front part of the winding, which is not submerged into the impregnation mixture, for instance, with the help of a permanent magnet. In process of impregnation the internal capacitance of the winding is measured, until it reaches the permanent value, afterwards the impregnation process is completed, the winding is withdrawn from the bath, heating current is supplied to the specified winding, to heat and dry it.

EFFECT: simplified method of impregnation with simultaneous increase of its electric safety, increased penetrating ability of an impregnation composition in depth of a winding, higher quality of a winding due to increased coefficient of impregnation through provision of its value stabilisation.
