FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to technical entomology - the methods of mass breeding of beneficial predatory insects for subsequent use in biological pest control. In the process of breeding of beneficial insects - predatory gall midges Acaroletes tetranychorum Kief. (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) soyabean plants are grown. The grown plants are colonised with the red spiders. Predatory gall midges in the form of eggs, larvae and pupae are released on the plants. The predator is accumulated. The resulting biomaterial is collected in the form of eggs, larvae and pupae.
EFFECT: ability of mass production of predatory gall midges is provided for method of biological control of sucking pests of various agricultural crops in open and closed agro-ecosystems.
