FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid sprayers exploiting intermittent shock waves generated in underexpanded gas jets decelerated by resonance chamber to produce fine drops. Sprayer gas inlet nozzle is shaped to cylinder while central rod is profiled. Part arranged inside said nozzle features conical shape with divergence angle of 45-80°. Part behind nozzle edge features cylindrical shape. Rod cylindrical and taper parts converge at nozzle edge. Profiled rod with divergence angle of 45-80° allows a 12% increase in the number of fine drops.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of spraying.
