FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding and may be used in making power transformer welded housings. Proposed device comprises two carriages mounted on common frame to displace along the frame driven by motor. Said carriages are furnished with welding electrodes with mechanism to bind them to parts, welding transformers, intake table with guides and lengthwise travel drive, as well as drives and welding cycle control system. Said mechanisms to bind electrodes to parts are composed of two-arm levers coupled via axles with carriages. Front ends of said carriages accommodate two copper electrodes with leads from welding transformers. Pneumatic cylinders of said mechanisms are secured to carriages and connected with opposite ends of said levers. Intake table is provided with height adjustment screw drive and article eccentric clamps.

EFFECT: higher welding quality, simplified process, higher efficiency and lower costs.
