FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevators. Elevator pulley comprises belt guide surface (26) with surface profile along, at least, one part of said surface. In compliance with preferable version, surface profile is governed by n-order polynomial equation where n is the number larger than 2. In said version, central part on surface profile is, on the whole, parallel with pulley body central axis. In some versions, curvilinear sides are used between pulley center and edges. In other versions, second sides with linear profile are used. Elevator assembly used aforesaid pulley.
EFFECT: uniform loads on drive belt.
