FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of structural materials, particularly to complex and/or polyfunctional additives in concrete mixtures and can be used in producing concrete and mortar, as well as other cement composites, for example when producing backfill and insulating materials. The complex additive for concrete, mortar and cement composites contains at least one puzzolana and/or at least one mineral additive selected from: calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, silicon dioxide, barium sulphate, grinding screenings, ground rock, barium carbonate, chromium oxide, zinc oxide and water. The additive additionally contains clay, with the following ratio of components, wt %: puzzolana and/or said mineral additive 5-70; clay 0.01-50; water - the balance.
EFFECT: invention increases stability of the suspension of the additive, reduces sedimentation of the suspension of the additive while reducing its viscosity, improves its pumpability, increases strength of concrete and mortar made using the additive, reduces gas- and water permeability, reduces wearing of components of pumping and mixing equipment, reduces the cost of producing the additive.
