FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: receiver has a housing 1 and a device 2 which directs electromagnetic radiation into said housing. The housing 1 is a closed body with a tubular shape: cylinder, sphere, toroid or a toroid curled up into a Mobius loop. The device 2 can be in from of a laser reflector, a mirror reflector, a dipole oscillator or any other device capable of directing electromagnetic waves into the housing 1. Surfaces of the housing 1 are coated with special material in form of nanofractions which provide coating purity of not less than 10-9 m and maximum electromagnetic radiation reflecting power. A vacuum is maintained inside the housing 1, for which there is an emergency valve with a tube 4 for connecting a vacuum pump. Beams enter the housing 1 through a conical through-hole 5 with a tightly closing valve which is transparent for electromagnetic radiation and is placed such that electromagnetic beams passing through it enter the housing 1 at a tangent to its inner surface. There is also a through-hole 6 with a tightly closing outlet valve which is not transparent to electromagnetic radiation. The disclosed receiver not only receives electromagnetic radiation, but also accumulates its energy, which is used in practical purposes in different fields of science and engineering.

EFFECT: design of an electromagnetic radiation receiver which receives and accumulates energy of beams falling on it.
