FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: battery includes assembly of battery modules configured as a structure with a set of battery modules, each of them contains a set of battery elements or single modules connected in sequence to each other along with arrangement in casing for module, electrically connected to each other upon arrangement in side direction so that battery modules contacts each other, a pair of side support elements to close sides of external battery modules of battery modules assembly, and at least one upper connecting element for connection of side support elements on upper side of battery modules assembly in which at least one of side supporting elements has area (section of low resistance) with low resistance to volume dilatation, at that this area is partially formed on at least one of side supporting elements in order to induce local deformation of battery modules in case of expansion, thus inducing fault.
EFFECT: enhancing operation safety.
