SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for treatment of fibrous mass in an apparatus for washing and disinfection of fibrous mass and to a system of control of this apparatus, where the apparatus comprises two rotary squeeze rolls, having a permeable outer surface. A squeeze area is determined between squeeze rolls, in which the fibrous mass is wrought. At least one of squeeze rolls is installed as capable of displacement relative to the other squeeze roll for variation of the squeeze area. Treatment of the fibrous mass in the apparatus is determined by a set of variable working parameters, which may be varied during apparatus operation; where the distance between squeeze rolls is included into the specified set of parameters. At the same time at least one desired value is established for a specific controlled parameter; where the specific controlled parameter is included in a group of controlled parameters; where specific controlled parameters are measured; and at least two alternate working parameters from the specified set of parameters are controlled in process of apparatus operation. The distance between squeeze rolls is one of the specified at least two alternate working parameters, to maintain the difference between the established desired value and the measured value of the specific controlled parameter below the certain level.

EFFECT: increased quality of processing due to adjustment of a row of alternate working parameters in process of treatment.
