FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: integrated system of backup devices has a unit of inertial sensors, a liquid crystal screen and a magnetic field sensor connected to a computer. There are compensating coils on each axis in the magnetic field sensor and there are three conversion channels in the integrated system of backup devices. To calibrate the magnetic field sensor, calibration factors are determined, their values are analysed and, depending on said values, direct current of a defined value is fed into the compensating coil of the corresponding axis of the magnetic field sensor. During calibration, this process is periodically repeated in order to update calibration factors.
EFFECT: high measurement accuracy of the device owing to elimination of deviation error with a high external perturbing magnetic field.
