FIELD: navigational instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigational instrument making and can be applied in the systems of measurement and indication of the aerial vehicle (AV) piloting in the event of failure of the basic flight-navigation systems. To this end, in the method of calibrating a three-component magnetometer of an integrated backup instrument system, the bank angles, pitch and magnetic course, measured by the basic close control system on fine sensors, whose measuring axis exactly coincide with the axis of the AV, for the calculation of deviation coefficients in the process of three-component magnetometer calibration.

EFFECT: technical result is increasing accuracy of measuring the integrated system of backup devices due to a more accurate determination of the coefficients calibration of a three-component magnetometer to exclude the influence of the perturbing magnetic field when calculating the aircraft magnetic course.
