SUBSTANCE: according to the proposed method for introduction of K catalysts to reaction tube of shell-and-tube reactor, twins (doubled catalysts strongly coupled to each other) formed during production of K catalysts are partially removed from at least one batch and/or from extracted portion of ring-shaped shell-type K catalysts prior to their introduction to reaction tube. Catalysts are made by application of catalytically active mass to ring-shaped moulded parts-carriers by means of a liquid binding agent. Upon completion of the production process, twins of catalysts obtained during production are separated at least partially. Also, the description of the above catalysts used for loading with solid layer of catalyst of reaction tubes in shell-and-tube reactor and packing made by placing the portion quantity of catalyst moulded parts in the cover from packing material is provided.

EFFECT: enlarging the life time of catalyst and reducing the probability of occurrence of hot points.
