FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: exothermal mix of metal oxides with reducing agent and nonmetal are locally ignited at pressure of gas medium and fused. Metal oxides selected subject to composition of alloy, reducing agent and nonmetal make selectively two or more exothermal mixes differing in composition and strength. One of said mixes is ignited to direct produced melt, by one or several jets, onto another exothermal mix. Said mix is ignited by liquid melt and, then, another one, if required. Then, self-propagating high-temperature synthesis is carried out together with liquid melt of reacted mix or mixes unless melt is produced of required composition.
EFFECT: decreased consumption of materials, higher yield.
