FIELD: powder metallurgy, possibly manufacture of wide range of powders with such properties as refractoriness, high- temperature strength, heat resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and so on. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making exothermic mixture in mode of self-propagation high-temperature synthesis at directed filtration of additive gases. Exothermic mixture is preliminarily pelletized; synthesis is performed in half-closed reactor with use of carbon, boron, silicium as non- metal components.
