FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: cutting tool includes the base to be arranged on the machined part and a tool assembly located above the base. Tool assembly includes an electric motor and a rotating cutting blade. Rotation of electric motor output shaft is transmitted to the cutting blade by means of a spindle. Electric motor output shaft is located above the spindle. Motor housing has flattened cylindrical configuration. Horizontal length of the motor housing is shorter than vertical length of the motor housing. As per the second version, the cutting tool includes a tool assembly provided with an electric motor and a rotating cutting blade brought into rotation with the electric motor. Motor housing has flattened cylindrical configuration. Horizontal length of the motor housing is shorter than vertical length of the motor housing. Saw-cut direction that is direction for movement of cutting tool represents a forward direction. Direction to the operator in relation to the cutting tool is a backward direction. Forward and backward directions are horizontal. As per the third version of design, portable cutting tool includes a tool assembly having an electric motor and a rotating cutting blade, and the first handle and the second handle. Handles are continued from the tool assembly in various directions from each other. The first handle includes a lever of motor starting selector switch. The second handle includes an electric motor.
EFFECT: strong capture of the cutting tool is provided at its stable movement.
