FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to desk-top cutting device. Proposed device comprises: table to support workpiece, cutter casing fixed on said table to move vertically and parallel to table plane. Note here that cutter casing comprises fixed case arranged around top side of revolving cutting tool clamped in driven spindle. Fixed case rear edge located at the spindle rear has its recess displaced upward to allow deeper cutting in rear zone. Cutter casing rests upon sliding mechanism and can slide along the plane parallel to table plane. Said sliding mechanism comprises intermediate clamping mechanism that allows limiting the sliding of cutter casing in direction of workpiece in the entire range of cutter casing sliding strokes.
