FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: packaging for mineral-cotton product in which mineral wool is rolled and wrapped in packaging material, which is at least partially sealed at least in the end areas of package. Packaging material consists of packaging plastic which in the end areas of package is sealed at least partially by melting near each of the end surfaces; and near each of the end surfaces of the package the packaging material is provided with at least one perforation in a circumferential direction of the package. The package comprises a tail of the packaging material which is free of adhesive and forming the end which is easy to capture, enclosed between two parallel perforations of the packaging plastic that enables to open the package by pulling the packaging plastic between the perforations. The packaging plastic on the end surfaces remains in place, retaining the rolled product during the final transportation.
EFFECT: improvement of the package.
