FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking industry and can be used in analysis of toxicity of laminated wooden materials. The method includes boiling of a sample in distilled water with distillation of produced vapours, condensing of acetone distilled by excess of furfural in alkaline medium at room temperature until dyeing, addition of sulphuric acid to change solution colour with subsequent photocolorimetric analysis at a KFK device with detection of optical density of the solution at the wave length of 520-540 nm and assessment of acetone content according to the calibration curve.
EFFECT: detection reliability improvement.
