FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustic differential-range navigation systems. According to the invention, a vessel is fitted with a hydroacoustic pulse emitter and two pairs of bottom hydrophones connected to two pairs of flip-flops are placed along and across a given channel. The device is provided with two time delay pulse generating units and two units for indicating longitudinal and transverse coordinates of the vessel. The time delay pulse generating units are in form of two AND circuits, two OR circuits, two additional flip-flops and a monostable multivibrator. The units for indicating the longitudinal and transverse coordinates of the vessel include a frequency metre, a precision controlled frequency generator and two LED indicators of the time delay sign. The listed apparatus are connected to each other in a defined way.
EFFECT: easy determination of coordinates of a vessel, faster operation and reliability of the device, smaller size of the equipment.
