SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio broadcasting equipment and may be used as digital mike. Proposed device comprises converter case and dome-like diaphragm with corrugated suspensions. In compliance with this invention it additionally includes pulse radiation source, 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd aperture diaphragms, condenser, and neutral wedge-like light filter with guide, and lens. Besides 16 semitransparent micro mirrors are arranged along optical axis of said lens at 45°C thereto, one after the other. Sixteen photo receivers are located on casing side whereto micro mirrors are turned. Outputs of said photo receivers are connected to inputs of pulse amplifiers. Finally, it includes pulse generator.

EFFECT: direct conversion of sound oscillations in binary codes.
