SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cash register desks in stores where customers place themselves the purchased products in bags. The device for alternative sorting of purchased products in one of two areas of usually expanding end part of cash register desk in the stores of such type where the customers place themselves the purchased products in bags, and which are provided for this purpose with an end part which is usually expanding and has a shape of gutter, ending with two areas where customers stand in a queue to collect and put products in a bag that have been tested by the cashier, and these areas are separated from each other by a longitudinal center guide. At the upper part of this gutter the part of the inclined lower part is formed or covered with a circular plate attached to the means for rotation in both directions, which is controlled by any selective action of the cashier, depending on whether the products are designated in one or the other of the said two end storage areas. It is made so that the cashier puts products on the nearest part of the circular plate, and it follows the coming down products by the rotational movement that are displaced from the plate due to the action of gravity and/or centrifugal force and/or interaction with the center guide, and which are accumulated in the end part of the area where they are designated.
EFFECT: facilitation of customer service.
