FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at factories in water treatment and recycling water supply, as well as in production of beer and soft drinks and treatment of drinking water. The method for ion-exchange treatment of waste water from metal ions involves passing the water through a mixture of amino carboxyl cationite and low-basic polymerisation-type anionite. The mixture of ionites used is a mixture of polymer sorbents which is a product of combined treatment with hydrazine hydrate, in the presence of hydrazine sulphate and acethydrazide at temperature of 102°C for two hours, of a mixture of equal amounts of secondary polymers of methyl acrylate, divinyl sulphide, ethylene diamine, acrylonitrile and styrene with the ratio divinyl sulphide: ethylene diamine: acrylonitrile: styrene: acrylic acid hydrazide equal to 1:1:1:1:1.
EFFECT: method increases efficiency of removing metal ions with a wide range thereof in the treated water in the presence of accompanying organic pollutants and high stability of treatment with variation of the temperature of the water.
