FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in industry to purify process, waste and drinking water during fine purification and creating a closed process cycle. To realise the method, waste water and process solutions are passed through a mixture of aminocarboxylic cationite and low-basic anionite of the polymerisation type, taken in cationic and anionic form, where the mixture used is a copolymer of methyl methacrylate, divinyl sulphide, divinyl benzene and polymethacrylic acid hydrazide, with ratio of ethylene diamine and hydrazide groups in the copolymer equal to 1:1.

EFFECT: method enables to widen the range of variable-valence metal ions removed from water, increase sorption activity of the mixture of ion-exchange resins in conditions with wide range of pH values of aqueous solution and increase the number of "purification-regeneration" cycles.
