FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment. Deluge fire suppression system comprises a network of main and distribution pipelines, and includes a water-supply source. The network of pipelines is filled with liquid extinguishing agent and contains deluge heads. The water-supply source is a water tank, water intake system with a filter and a pump, and two automatic water-feeders. In the main feeding pipeline an alarm turbine is mounted. The deluge head comprises a hollow housing with a nozzle and a central core. The deluge head housing is made with a channel for supply of liquid and comprises a coaxial sleeve rigidly connected to it with a nozzle fixed in its lower part. The nozzle is made in the form of a cylindrical two-stage sleeve. The upper cylindrical stage of the sleeve is connected by a threaded connection to the central core. The core comprises a cylindrical part and a hollow cone. The cone is mounted with the annular gap relative to the inner surface of the cylindrical sleeve. The annular gap communicates with at least three radial channels. The annular gap is connected with the housing channel for liquid supply. The cone in the lower part is rigidly attached to the sprayer which is made in the form of a front circular plate. On the side cone surface the rows of cylindrical orifice openings with axes lying in planes perpendicular to the cone axis are made. In each row the openings are made. The openings of one row are shifted relative to openings of the other row at an angle in the range of 15°÷60°.
