FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling-mill machinery and may be used in sheet rolling cluster mills with control over roll space shape. Proposed stand comprises beds with bottom crossbars, support rolls with pads, bottom rolls resting via gaskets on crossbars and being provided with hydraulic cylinders of equalising top support roll. Hydraulic cylinder plungers rest on top support roll pad. It comprises working rolls with pads and hydraulic cylinders of equalising top working roll. Note here that gaskets on bottom support roll pads sides are composed of curvilinear supports. Note here that every curvilinear support is composed of rack directed across crossbar with its surface facing support roll pad and features cylindrical shape. Note that faces of hydraulic cylinder plungers feature spherical shape.
EFFECT: gap clearance adjustment range expansion and reduced stress at roll bearings.
