with high output, using a metal salt of (2S,3S,5R)-2-hexyl-3,5-dihydroxyhexadecanoic acid of formula 111:

as an intermediate compound. The compound of formula 1 is an intermediate product for producing tetrahydrolipstatin.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain a compound of formula 1 with high output and high purity.
