FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: when reconstructing the blade of gas-turbine engine fan, which is made from titanium or titanium alloy and the root of which has the shape of dovetail in its section, metal is applied to the section of surface of axial bearing of root, thus reinforcing that section. Layer of nickel, cobalt or combination of those two metals with thickness of 10 mcm to 1 mm is applied to the section of surface of root axial bearing by means of electrolysis. Electrolytic solution used during root reconstruction contains nickel sulphamate.
EFFECT: invention allows reconstructing the section of surface of axial bearing of blade root without deterioration of its fatigue strength.
