FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser technology. Proposed method consists in constructing 3D image in computer memory, decomposing said image into layer-by-layer processing zones, and controlling laser beam. Note here that processing is conducted by radiation of single-mode fibre intermittent laser on material surface. Radiation is controlled by rectangular spiral scan calculated so that distance between adjacent lines makes 60-70 percent of focal spot diameter with due allowance for focal distance variation. Note also that beam angular travel speed is selected to make distance between adjacent points of processing equal that between lines while pulse repetition rate is selected to be minimum tolerable for fibre laser. Note that beam angular travel is driven by galvanometric scanner. While correction of focal plane is performed by dynamic zoom lens to allow alignment of beam focal zone shifting with processing zone in moving off the material and decreasing power density via radiation defocusing I the mode of scale removal.
EFFECT: stamps and labels resistant against ambient effects.
