FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates tires for passenger transport facilities. Tire comprises two beads 20, two side strips conceded in crown, and at least one carcass reinforcement 60 extending from beads via side strip to crown. Carcass reinforcement is secured in two beads by wrapping around circular reinforcing structure 70 so that inlet part 61 and wrapping part 62 are formed in every bead. Every bead comprises filler 110 and outer band 120 arranged axially outside both carcass reinforcement and bead filler. Assembly formed by bead filler 110 and outer band 120 features thickness E(r) where r is distance to radially innermost point 71 of circular reinforcement structure. Thickness E(r) at different sections is such that thickness variation within distances r exceeding or equal to 15%, or smaller than or equal to 50% of tire radial height H is smaller than or equal to -0.25 mm/mm over, at least, 5 mm.
EFFECT: decreased tire rolling resistance.
