FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: device relates to the field of ventilation and air conditioning. The device comprises one or several packets of hygroscopic capillary-porous plates with channels for air flows and liquid solution supply, a tray with a liquid solution, where plates are partially submerged, a bath installed above the packet, with intermediate baths installed between packets, and is equipped with a system of temperature control (heating or cooling) of a circulating liquid solution.
EFFECT: multi-functional heat and mass exchange device makes it possible to efficiently perform tasks of air drying, cooling and moisturising, return water cooling, concentration of liquid salt solutions and packaging solid residues for their recycling or burial.
