FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for tube plate tube beading in making heat exchangers for various industries. After fitting expander in tube, drive is actuated to run its shaft that, in its turn, actuates expander spindle and rollers via shank, torque of the latter being controlled in expanding. To determine relative torque and limit its magnitude, indicator is connected via resistor between comparator and active power transducer, parallel with their circuit.
EFFECT: higher quality.
