FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: metal-bearing dusts and slimes, lime cement and coke fines are mixed and agglomerated to produce pellets. In mixing ingredients, colloidal water suspension of electrically activated water consisting of the mix of fresh cathodic and anodic solutions and carbon fulleroid-type clusters is added to the mix to accelerate hardening and add to pellet strength. Produced pellets are blown by ventilatory air to cool pellets down and retard evaporation to allow hardening to complete evaporation of moisture. To add to pellet strength, unrefined carbon nanotubes are added to water and charge.
EFFECT: faster hardening, higher strength.
