FIELD: processes for preparing metallurgical raw materials with use of iron-containing oiled-scale waste materials of metallurgical production.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of disintegrating initial components; metering; mixing initial components with binder; then adding water; lumping mixture and strengthening lumped material. Initial mixture includes iron-containing waste material having oiled scale in quantity consisting 36,4% or 40%, 50% or 100%; carbon -containing material and binder such as lime or Portland cement or Portland cement clinker. Method allows to process iron-containing waste material with high content of oiled scale.

EFFECT: low cost price of lumped material having sufficient strength necessary for transporting material along mean and far distances for using it as raw material for producing cast iron, iron, steel.
