SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an applicator for applying cosmetics on lips, made of plastic with a porous structure. The object of the invention is to create an applicator providing the presence of a certain space in which the lip cosmetics remains not removed when removal of the applicator from the reservoir containing the cosmetic substance, and the optimal matching of the applicator to the lip contour is simultaneously guaranteed. The applicator is proposed for applying a cosmetic substance on lips, which is used in conjunction with a reservoir containing a cosmetic substance, and made of plastic with a porous structure. The applicator has at the ends two sections having a convex spherical surface (thickened end sections) and in its middle part there is a section that has a concave profile (thinned middle section). The middle section is equipped with a core manufactured by injection moulding, and the porous material is attached to the outer surface of the core by thermal influence on the edges of this casing.

EFFECT: creation of an applicator which ensures the presence of a certain space in which the lip cosmetics remains not removed when removal of the applicator from the reservoir containing the cosmetic substance, and the optimal matching of the applicator to the lip contour is simultaneously guaranteed.
